The Foley Lab is a dedicated Foley studio located in a converted 1960’s science laboratory on a quiet country estate in County Wicklow.
The studio is 176 sq.m and features adjustable acoustics, an array of interior and exterior surfaces, mounted Foley doors and an extensive collection of props and shoes gathered over the last 22 years.
We create finely detailed and natural sounding Foley effects and footsteps to fit seamlessly into a production track. We can work to different budgetary requirements and deliver a tailor made solution on schedule.

Who we are
Caoimhe Doyle is an award-winning Foley artist and co-owner of The Foley Lab. She has 22 years experience creating Foley sound effects and footsteps for film and television.
Caoimhe received a Honours Bachelors Degree in Film and Television Production from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design + Technology.
Jonathan Reynolds is a Foley recording mixer and co-owner of The Foley Lab. He has 25 years experience working in music and sound.
He is also founder/director of All in Arts an organisation which specialises in collaborative creative work with people with intellectual disability. All in Arts present opportunities for participants to discover, develop and share their strengths and talents through participation in high quality arts projects that enrich people’s lives.
Jonathan received a first-class Honours Masters Degree in Community Music from the University of Limerick.
